LAS VEGAS – The Denver Nuggets dominated the fourth quarter and defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves, 101-82, in the 2026 NBA Summer League on Saturday.

While there were eight lead changes in this game, Denver rode a 28-10 fourth quarter to their victory.
The Nuggets (1-1) were led by KJ Simpson, who racked up 19 points, four rebounds and four assists.
Denver shot 44.7% from the field and 37.5% from 3-point range while holding the Timberwolves to 35.5% from the field and 25.0% from long range.
The Nuggets recorded 18 assists to 12 turnovers, while Minnesota had 12 assists to 16 turnovers.
Second-round pick Bryce Hopkins had 16 points, seven rebounds and two assists. Erik Stevenson added 18 points, three rebounds, two assists and two steals.
The Timberwolves (1-1) were led by Zyon Pullin, providing 24 points, five rebounds and three assists.
Donovan Williams had 16 points, three rebounds, three assists and two steals. Nate Santos led the bench with 14 points and three rebounds.
