LAS VEGAS – The Orlando Magic used a balanced offense and staunch second-half defense to defeat the Miami Heat, 93-88 in Summer League action on Saturday.

The Magic’s trio of Jase Richardson (three 3-pointers, five rebounds, six assists), Lester Quinones (two 3-pointers) and Colin Castleton (eight rebounds, one assist) each dropped 15 points in the victory.

Noah Penda, the No. 32 pick in the 2025 NBA Draft, stuffed the stat sheet with 12 points, seven rebounds, two dimes, two steals and two blocks.

Miami held a 52-46 advantage at halftime behind a combined 34 points and six 3-pointers from their starting backcourt, Jahmir Young (19 points, three 3-pointers) and Trevor Keels (15 points, three 3-pointers).

At the onset of the third quarter, however, the momentum had shifted in favor of Orlando. The Magic shot a red-hot 66.7 percent from the field en route to a 33-18 scoring edge, turning a six-point halftime deficit into a nine-point cushion heading to the final frame (79-70).

Both teams turned up the effort on defense in the fourth quarter, with Miami outpacing the Magic 18-14 over the final 10 minutes of play.

Orlando struggled with turnovers (19), but their second unit made perhaps the biggest impact of the game, as they finished with a 32-8 mark in bench scoring.

Keels tallied a game-high 32 points and six 3-pointers on 12-for-19 shooting for Miami, adding four rebounds, two assists and a steal. Young was just behind his backcourt partner with 27 points to go along with one board, six assists, three steals and a block.

Tre White chipped in with 13 points, three 3-pointers, five rebounds, four assists, four steals and a block in an all-around performance.

The Magic (1-1) resume play on Sunday against the Portland Trail Blazers (7 ET, ESPNU), and the Heat (1-1) take on the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday (8 ET, Prime)
